We are a small, family-owned campground near Blacksville, in Monongalia County, run by owners Dana and Rod, who live about five minutes from the grounds.
Fairmont is the seat of Marion County and a hub for the region's energy economy, so many of our Fairmont-area guests are here for work — gas, pipeline, and construction crews on a job in the county — along with families, folks visiting Fairmont State University, and travelers coming off I-79. For a multi-week job, a monthly full-hookup site is easier on the budget than a long hotel stay, and we can hold several sites for a crew.
