Close to camp
State Line Campground keeps you near the things that make a trip easy. Gas, groceries, and restaurants are less than two miles away, so you do not have to plan every meal ahead — Creek N' Rail Cafe is a local favorite close to camp, and there is a Huntington Bank with a drive-thru ATM nearby — handy for grabbing cash or depositing a paycheck on a long work day. Mason-Dixon Historical Park, a 396-acre county park a short drive away, is a favorite for families, with three playgrounds, large pavilions, clean restrooms, a baseball field, hiking trails along the water, and even a fairy trail for the kids. There are also ponds and lakes across the region for fishing.
The local library is only three minutes away by car and is a favorite on a rainy afternoon. It runs story hours for children and lends out games and toys that families can check out and bring back to camp.
A short drive to Morgantown and Waynesburg
Both Morgantown, WV and Waynesburg, PA are roughly 25 minutes from the campground. Morgantown adds college-town restaurants, shopping, and WVU events, while Waynesburg and Greene County offer their own parks and small-town stops. When you get back to camp, the quiet returns.
